About the Company

Ansa Research Inc. is a newly formed entity focused on ecosystem growth for Filecoin and other decentralized physical infrastructure networks. The original team was formed from a spin-out from Protocol Labs in January 2024. As part of our purview, we manage several official Filecoin channels - notably, the main Filecoin Twitter Account and the FilecoinTLDR Brand, which aims to synthesize and create content and engagement for Filecoin token holders. This role we are recruiting for pertains to the main Filecoin brand and account.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Social and Community to significantly enhance our presence and engagement within the Web3 community. This role focuses on developing and executing innovative social media strategies for Filecoin, with an emphasis on cultivating a strong online community and creating impactful content. The ideal candidate will actively engage in social media trends relevant to Web3, solidifying Filecoin as a prominent and influential presence in this space.

At Ansa Research, you’ll also be a founding member of a leadership team in an organization that is lean and impactful. This role involves ownership of a small marketing team and strategy. It is great for someone who excels in the dual role of both team management and hands-on ideation and execution.


  • Design and implement robust social media strategies that effectively promote Filecoin and drive towards overarching goals.
  • Manage a small team to:
    • Create and curate engaging and relevant content across various social platforms, focusing on growing visibility, engagement, and community
    • Lead community interaction initiatives, including Q&A sessions and Twitter spaces
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Web3 space and industry-relevant social media trends to ensure content is relevant and insightful
  • Collaborate with the website growth and content team to synergize social media efforts with broader marketing and growth strategies.
  • Analyze social media metrics to gauge performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement.


  • Demonstrated marketing leadership experience in a startup environment.
  • Web3 native, strong knowledge and understanding of narratives, trends and Web3 style growth levers for growing communities
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging way that aligns with our brand guidelines
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing market trends and platform algorithms and inform key stakeholders of such decisions
  • Proficiency in understanding and using analytics to track performance and inform strategy
  • Good to have - Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Figma) and video editing platforms (e.g. Premiere) to create and/or edit materials for social requirements.
