CCP is looking for an self-motivated Systems Designer with the the ability to work on both conceptual designs and implementation.

You will be working in our Reykjavík studio, bringing experience and expertise in Game Design to work on our multiple award-winning title: EVE Online.

Your tasks:

• Working on a multi-disciplinary feature team as part of the Design Department, taking responsibility for design and implementation of large features and systems
• Support both your own and other features with your experise of systems, economy, progression and reward distribution
• Monitoring and identifying problems within established game systems and balance to research, propose and implement solutions for the player driven economy and game health
• Collaborating with team members and other department leads to ensure positive communication and problem solving between disciplines
• Working with production to assist, and provide feedback on, high-level plans and schedules

Your profile:

• Proven game design experience, with 3 years’ of experience in a role with focus on systems
• Wide understanding of game systems, progression, economy, balance, rewards, etc
• Ability to communicate and describe game systems in a clear understandable manner to both other designers and other disciplines
• Able to solve complex problems and support the design of systems using your math, probability and statistical skillset
• Ability to communicate and prove your ideas through prototypes, models and simulations
• Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team environment
