Fenris Creations are seeking a Senior Games Designer to join the EVE: Vanguard team in their London office, United Kingdom.
You will be responsible for designing, delivering and refining engaging gameplay systems in Unreal Engine, bringing fast-paced, immersive experiences to life in a 24/7 Live Service game.

Your Tasks
- Pitch, design, and prototype relevant game systems and mechanics unsupervised.
- Create and maintain clear design documentation, including feature specifications and implementation guidelines.
- Own and develop engaging gameplay systems, activities and missions, ensuring successful delivery of features and content for each release.
- Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other designers to integrate systems seamlessly into gameplay.
- You know what you’re aiming for and can confidently & independently implement designs using Unreal Engine.
- You observe and feedback on the game’s live service performance, tracking the features you own, spotting community hot topics, driving balancing decisions and delivering key updates.
- Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and drive discussions around relevant features in design meetings.
Your Profile
- Previous experience as a Senior Game Designer in the videogame industry with at least 1 shipped title, ideally in the shooter genre.
- Capacity to work independently without supervision, owning features from end to end and course correcting where required.
- Proven experience working in Unreal Engine.
- Strong understanding of engaging hooks, player feedback, and pacing.
- Passion and a strong interest in competitive and co-operative shooters.
- Strong UX sensibility and ability to clearly communicate & document ideas.
- Deep knowledge of rules, systems, and gameplay mechanics.
- Strong Game Design skills in a LIVE/GaaS environment.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
