About the Role:

We’re hiring a software engineer to join our engineering team to strengthen our ops or backend squad, to grow alongside this product in seniority and responsibility. If you are passionate about your work, keen to write good code and design solid solutions, proactive, and always looking for ways that things can be improved (in processes or code), our engineering team is an environment where you will thrive. Primarily focusing on our Cudo Compute product, you will contribute to a revolutionary venture, harnessing and monetising the power of idle hardware in a carbon neutral manner, to power workloads such as rendering, scientific research, data analysis and cryptocurrency mining.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with Go
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proven experience segmenting complex tasks from a specification or design, into achievable units of work
• Ability to contribute valuable input on proposed designs and architectural plans alongside experienced engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience sharing knowledge with team members effectively
  Provide thought-out, constructive review of code
• Knowledge of virtualisation, containerisation and WebAssembly
• Willingness to provide advice to and mentor engineers, allowing them to work more efficiently whilst fostering their development
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions based on both the needs of the business and of the engineering team
