Internship (CSN, Sweden)
Foresight Institute, located in San Francisco and Berlin — Remote internship
About the Role
Foresight Institute is a San Francisco-based nonprofit founded in 1986. We work at the frontier of science and technology — across AI safety, longevity, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, and space. Our track record includes supporting researchers decades before they received Nobel Prizes.
Every year we run 60+ seminars, 2–3 major conferences with ca 100 frontier scientists and funders, as well as technical expert workshops, and giving out $3–5M in AI safety-related grants. We have a team across the US and Europe and provide local compute for AI researchers. We have local nodes in San Francisco and Berlin.
This is a fully remote, full-time internship. You can work from wherever you want to be located as a Swedish CSN-backed student, as long as you can deliver on your responsibilities. You are especially welcome to join any colleagues in any of our cities with colleagues in them, e.g Berlin, Barcelona or Stockholm. We work fast paced and asynchronously across time zones — Slack is our main workspace. Strong internet and digital fluency are required.
This internship is unpaid and CSN-compatible. We can provide all documentation needed to make it work with your university, including a praktikavtal.
