Responsibilities

👉 Lead the creation of the Gensyn Foundation

👉 Identify and protect Gensyn from emerging risks in the crypto and AI regulatory environments

👉 Examine and create draft legal agreements, such as employment and vendor agreements

👉 Triage and resolve all internal legal questions/issues

👉 Carry out all company secretarial duties - maintain registers, funding records, cap table, etc..

👉 Legally represent the company (e.g. with vendors, regulators, and users) - negotiation, dispute resolution, and compliance

Minimum requirements

✅ Strong exposure to Crypto legal issues

✅ Extensive experience at a large corporate law firm or commensurate experience at a venture-backed startup

✅ Experience with international employment law/issues, contract negotiation, fundraising, corporate structuring - especially off-shore structuring (e.g. for crypto foundations)

✅ Comfortable with uncertainty

✅ Highly autonomous

✅ “No job too small” mindset
