| Position Description | The Department of Statistics at Harvard University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor Pragya Sur. Professor Sur’s lab focuses on research in high-dimensional statistics, machine learning theory, or more broadly, mathematical foundations of AI. The appointment will be for up to two years with annual renewal based on satisfactory performance and continued availability of funding. Candidates who have tenure-track offers but would like to defer and do a one-year postdoc are also welcome to apply. |
| Basic Qualifications | Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a directly related field |
| Additional Qualifications | The successful applicant will be expected to have a solid technical background, research experiences showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills. |
