Position Description
The Associate will focus on research and curating electronic health records data by mapping row EHR data to common ontologies, performing natural language processing to extract clinical entities from free-text notes, performing quality control, and organizing data into a research ready form. The associate will work with senior researchers to perform statistical and machine learning based analyses including predictive modeling and real world evidence generation.
Basic Qualifications
MS in computer science, biostatistics, biomedical informatics or related field.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machine learning tools such as penalized logistic regression, XGBoost, neural networks.
  • Knowledge of modeling strategies including propensity score weighting and doubly robust casual estimation.
