Position Description
The Gershman Lab is seeking a Fellow to work on cell biology projects. This one-year position will focus on studies of learning and memory in the ciliate Stentor.

Responsibilities:

  1. Constructing experimental apparatuses;
  2. Maintaining cell cultures;
  3. Running experiments;
  4. Analyzing data.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, biology, or related discipline.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience gathering and/or analyzing data
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
  • Ability to work in a positive and productive manner with a variety of staff
  • Ability to prioritize work and coordinate research protocols with lab members
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Interest in learning and strengthening existing skillsets
