About the role
As our Senior Business Development Manager (DAOs), your mission will be to define and execute the strategy for discovering new business customers (DAOs, Token Teams, Token Funds, etc) and converting them to users of the Hedgey Protocol. You will act to establish and grow relationships, develop targeted outcomes, and manage deal flow at every step from discovery to execution. You will have the freedom to define and implement best practices for future BD with the opportunity to lead the eventual BD division of Hedgey.
We’re looking for passionate people. To own this role, you’ll need to:
Be the owner of the end-to-end business development sales cycle for DAOs. We are looking to hire a seasoned sell-side sales professional to lead outreach to new DAOs and onboard them to the Hedgey protocol. You will have full ownership to create and execute strategies, set up KPIs, and identify new emerging opportunities.
For this role specifically, you'll need to be able to successfully create financial strategies with DAOs, assist with creating DAO proposals to implement Hedgey, and carry DAO proposals across the finish line during community voting.
As a key role, you will have to be able to establish and have relationships with and deep understanding of DAOs in order to effectively drive sell-side liquidity to the Hedgey protocol.
What you bring
5-10 years of work experience in sell-side research sales
Active experience in DAOs, with a deep understanding of their organization structure, decision-making process, community engagement, and financial management tools
You feel confident setting up BD strategies, defining outcomes, and tracking success
You are passionate, creative, a risk-taker, and someone who wants to own your role
You have strong interpersonal communication skills in both written and oral capacity, an established network with DAOs and token teams
Strong interest in web 3, active in multiple DAOs, presence on Twitter and blog
