Position Summary

We are seeking an API Product Specialist – Digital Asset Custody & Trading to support and grow our API-based digital asset custody and trading products. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and client delivery, with a strong hands-on and client-facing component.

API products are a core strategic pillar for future growth and differ fundamentally from UI-driven products—particularly in the context of blockchain-based digital asset custody, where specialized knowledge and dedicated ownership are required. This is a mid-level role with clear growth potential, designed for a candidate who is eager to deepen their expertise and grow into a more senior product ownership position over time.

The API Product Specialist will work closely with the Chief Product Officer, engineering, commercial, and operations teams, and will play a key role in supporting API product development and client integrations.

Duties & Responsibilities

API Product Support & Development

• Support the definition and execution of the API roadmap for digital asset custody and trading products
• Translate client, regulatory, and market requirements into clear product and feature specifications
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout API development, testing, and release cycles
• Contribute to maintaining clear, consistent API specifications, documentation, and integration guidelines
• Build a strong understanding of digital asset custody workflows, including wallet management, deposits, withdrawals, and settlements

Client Integration & Solutioning

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients during API onboarding and integration
• Support client solutioning and integration design for blockchain-based custody and trading use cases
• Assist clients in understanding blockchain transaction flows, confirmations, fees, and operational constraints
• Support troubleshooting of integration and transaction-related issues in coordination with engineering and operations teams
• Promote standardized integration approaches to minimize custom development

Client-Facing & Commercial Support

• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and integration calls
• Support Sales and Business Development in API-related client discussions and technical due diligence
• Help explain API product capabilities in the context of blockchain networks and digital asset operations
• Gather structured client feedback and feed insights into product and roadmap discussions

Process & Scaling Support

• Help design and improve processes for onboarding and supporting API clients at scale
• Support coordination across product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams
• Track integration progress, recurring issues, and client-driven enhancement requests
• Contribute to defining and tracking KPIs related to API adoption, usage, and service quality

• 3–6 years of experience in product management, technical solutions, implementation, or API-focused roles
• Hands-on exposure to digital asset, blockchain, or crypto-related products, ideally in custody, trading, or infrastructure
• Experience working with APIs and supporting client integrations in a B2B or institutional environment
• Some client-facing experience in a professional services, fintech, or financial services context
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals (e.g. transactions, confirmations, wallets, private keys, fees)
• Understanding of how blockchain-specific constraints impact API design and client integrations
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
• Ability to translate between business requirements, blockchain concepts, and technical implementation
• Proactive mindset with a strong desire to grow into a more senior API product role
