📋 Role Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across Web3, AI, neurotech, and biotech-adjacent roles. You’ll own hiring from early-career engineers through senior ICs, research roles, and executive leadership, partnering closely with founders, technical leaders, and research teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, high-signal hiring environments where candidates don’t always apply, backgrounds are interdisciplinary, and talent often comes from research labs, startups, or academic-to-industry transitions.

✔️ Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across technical and leadership roles, including:

    • Software engineers (infra, protocol, product)

    • ML / AI engineers and researchers

    • Neurotech engineers and applied neuroscientists

    • Research engineers and computational specialists

    • Engineering managers, product leaders, and executives

Neurotech & Biotech Recruiting

  • Lead hiring for neurotech and biotech-adjacent roles, including:

    • Brain-computer interface (BCI) engineers

    • Neural signal processing and decoding specialists

    • Applied and computational neuroscientists

    • ML engineers working on biological or neural data

  • Source talent from research labs, neurotech startups, biotech-AI hybrids, and academic pipelines

  • Navigate recruiting for research-driven, interdisciplinary teams blending software, hardware, and science

Talent Sourcing & Engagement

  • Identify, engage, and nurture top talent across:

    • LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram

    • Research communities (arXiv, lab networks, academic circles)

    • DAOs, AI research forums, technical conferences, and meetups

  • Build trust-driven relationships with candidates in highly competitive, low-visibility talent markets

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with founders, technical leads, and executives to:

    • Define role requirements

    • Advise on hiring strategy and market conditions

    • Deliver high-quality, well-calibrated candidates

Pipeline & Market Intelligence

  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines across Web3, AI, and neurotech

  • Stay ahead of trends in compensation, role evolution, and emerging talent pools

  • Act as a trusted advisor on frontier hiring dynamics

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience that reflects IPTS’ values, mission, and reputation in the ecosystem

🧠 Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience

  • 2+ years recruiting in Web3, AI, or other frontier/emerging technologies

  • Proven experience recruiting for AI/ML roles, including:

    • ML engineers

    • LLM / applied AI researchers

    • Data infrastructure and platform engineers

    • AI product or research leaders

  • Strong track record of closing high-caliber candidates through creative sourcing and thoughtful engagement

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, fully remote environments

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience recruiting for neurotech, biotech-AI, computational biology, or neuroscience-adjacent roles

  • Existing network within research labs, neurotech startups, or interdisciplinary AI-science teams

  • Familiarity with hiring candidates transitioning from academia to industry

  • Experience supporting high-growth startups or research-heavy frontier companies

Domain Understanding

  • Web3: L1/L2 protocols, DeFi, smart contracts, cryptography, DAOs, infra & tooling

  • AI/ML: LLMs, ML frameworks, MLOps, distributed training, model evaluation, AI safety & alignment

  • Neurotech & Biotech: Brain-computer interfaces (BCI), neural signal processing, computational neuroscience, bio-ML, research-driven org structures
