About Our Client

Our client is a high-performance, permissionless global network purpose-built for distributed systems, with a mission to increase bandwidth and reduce latency. The network improves performance by filtering out junk data that burdens validators and other operators, while reducing latency through a mesh of underutilized private fiber links that create optimized, low-latency paths. About The Role

We are searching for a highly talented Smart Contract Engineer to design and build novel smart contracts and supporting software systems for a next-generation distributed protocol. This role focuses on developing secure, high-performance smart contracts across Solana/SVM and other blockchain environments, contributing to multi-chain and multi-tenant growth. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of smart contract architecture, common vulnerabilities, and best practices for testing, auditing, and security, along with strong judgment on when to build custom solutions versus leveraging open-source libraries. Beyond smart contracts, this engineer will build robust complementary software systems and actively collaborate in maintaining and evolving the codebase through thoughtful communication, code reviews, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on smart contract development experience, ideally complemented by broader software engineering work on large-scale systems.

• Deep expertise in Rust, plus experience with at least one additional language such as TypeScript, shell scripting, Solidity, Move, or Go.

• Experience working on teams building products atop established crypto protocols.

• Familiarity with agile, sprint-based development workflows and a strong commitment to high-quality, timely delivery.

• Demonstrated experience contributing to open-source projects, with an understanding of the implications of changes to shared codebases.
