About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Finance Leader who will drive strong financial results by developing a clear financial strategy and planning alongside the CEO and leadership team, while overseeing disciplined execution. This is a senior role responsible for optimizing risk-adjusted returns through capital deployment, portfolio management, and asset allocation — requiring expertise across the full spectrum of corporate finance and institutional-grade investing, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, accounting, and investor relations.
The ideal candidate will own and drive the financial philosophy and framework for network-wide capital allocation and risk-adjusted return optimization, while defining a comprehensive financial strategy across all finance domains. They will manage the portfolio to ensure long-term purchasing power preservation through diversification across asset classes — similar to an endowment model — and architect scalable financial systems designed to support a decentralized organizational structure. This leader will serve as the principal financial strategist and senior liaison, ensuring alignment across finance, legal, R&D, and various network teams, while also leading complex financial due diligence and post-integration strategy for new high-impact projects and investments across the broader network ecosystem. They will also lead and grow the finance team through recruiting, staffing, and performance management.
Requirements
-
15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or strategic role.
-
Proven track record of managing complex financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
-
Strong command of financial modeling, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
-
Exposure to asset management, fund finance, portfolio management, capital allocation, and early-stage investing
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex financial information for executive leadership and non-finance stakeholders.
-
Experience working in or familiarity with the technology & venture capital space.
