Role Detail: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Developer Engineer who will be instrumental in advancing core blockchain protocols on Substrate-based networks and L2 networks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Rust applied to the Polkadot SDK/Substrate and a strong interest in advancing L2 technology. You will play a crucial role in blockchain history by contributing to the creation of a decentralized network. Responsibilities include designing and implementing features for Substrate-based protocols, maintaining these systems, collaborating with the core development team on open-source libraries, supporting L2 solution stacks like Polygon, zkEVM, and OP Stack, developing tools for protocol development and testing, assisting with DevOps for infrastructure setup, and contributing to technical documentation and incident management as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in Rust development specifically with the Polkadot SDK framework.
- Expertise in Polkadot SDK pallet development, including storage migration, runtime upgrades, and cross-consensus message formats.
- Comprehensive understanding of blockchain architecture, with a focus on the Polkadot SDK framework.
- Passion for decentralized technology and Web 3.
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a fully remote distributed team.
- Proficiency in cross-cultural communication within a diverse and distributed work environment.
