Role Detail: We are seeking an exceptional engineering leader to head the platform engineering team, driving the timely delivery of innovative technology solutions that enhance the ecosystem. This role involves managing internal technology demands across platform, backend API, web, and mobile applications, while serving as a subject matter expert for technical matters and providing strategic insights and solutions to complex challenges. The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster technical innovation and efficiency is key, as is staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree, or Advanced Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 12 years of robust software engineering experience, proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Extensive experience with modern Web3 development frameworks and technologies.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum and Rollups.
- At least 5 years of experience in team leadership.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating high adaptability and resilience to change.
