Role Detail: We are searching for a full-time Business Development professional to join as an early core contributor. In this role, you will play a critical part in forging strategic alliances to expand accessibility within the Polkadot blockspace ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include profiling and onboarding key partners, fostering community engagement through these partnerships, and driving business opportunities for the company and the broader ecosystem. This dynamic position requires a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, hands-on experience with centralized exchanges, and the ability to bridge technical concepts with strategic business development initiatives. As a self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will have the opportunity to establish yourself as a thought leader in DeFi for the Polkadot ecosystem by participating in conferences and virtual events, highlighting the value Polkadot and our organization can offer to DeFi teams.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in business development within the crypto space.
• Deep understanding of the crypto and DeFi landscape, including how liquidity functions in DeFi.
• Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building and closing complex partnerships.
• Strong content writing abilities to engage diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated and independent, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Polkadot or its ecosystem.
• Familiarity with the centralized exchange (CEX) landscape.
• Background in working with APAC businesses.
• Multilingual capabilities, particularly in APAC languages.
