Role Detail: We are searching for a Head of Marketing to define and execute a comprehensive marketing and growth strategy aligned with our mission and target audience. In this role, you will lead the marketing workstream from strategic planning to hands-on execution, creating impactful content for the Ethereum and DeFi communities while fostering community engagement and enhancing our public profile. Collaborating with internal teams, you will develop proof-of-concept showcases and developer-focused campaigns, represent us as a thought leader at events and in the media, and drive metrics-based growth initiatives to optimize user acquisition, retention, and ecosystem partnerships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading growth or marketing efforts in a prominent Ethereum-based project, DeFi protocol, or infrastructure company within the EVM ecosystem.
- Track record of developing and executing innovative marketing strategies in the Web3 space with measurable success.
- In-depth knowledge of Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions, and the decentralized finance ecosystem.
- Established public profile in the Web3 space, with a history of thought leadership and active engagement on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, or blogs.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts and crafting compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on expertise in content creation, social media strategy, and community engagement.
Nice to Haves:
- Strong network within the Ethereum and DeFi communities, including relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), developers, and partners.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms for Web3 analytics, marketing, and growth.
- Experience scaling marketing initiatives for pre-seed or early-stage startups in the blockchain industry.
