Role Detail: We are searching for a highly skilled Solidity engineer with deep expertise in Ethereum smart contract development and a passion for innovation in blockchain. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain secure and efficient EVM-based smart contracts for Ethereum mainnet and rollups, contribute to the development of RETH, our Rust-based Ethereum execution environment, and build proof-of-concept applications like t-dex to showcase and expand our platform’s capabilities. With a track record of shipping production-grade smart contracts, contributing to Ethereum open-source projects, and experimenting with cutting-edge ideas, you thrive in environments that value autonomy, collaboration with top-tier engineers, and the drive to shape the future of decentralized systems. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), applying innovations to our development efforts and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to bridge smart contract development with core blockchain infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical field or advanced degree (i.e., Masters or equivalent).
• Proven experience in developing and deploying EVM-based smart contracts, with a strong record of delivering production-grade code to Ethereum mainnet or rollups.
• Practical experience at a company with a mainnet product, showcasing expertise in the full lifecycle of Ethereum-based solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), with the ability to work at the forefront of EVM innovation and execution.
• Strong expertise in smart contract design, security, and optimization for mainnet environments.

Nice to Haves:

• Active interest in Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) and contributions to the broader Ethereum community.
• Experience with Rust programming or familiarity with blockchain development tools.
• Contributions to Ethereum-related open-source projects (e.g., Foundry, Hardhat) or other prominent repositories.
• Passion for engaging with the blockchain ecosystem through events like Devcon.
