Role Detail: We are searching for a CTO to lead the technical strategy, oversee protocol and interface development, and ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of all core infrastructure. This role involves architecting and guiding the development of smart contracts, backend systems, and front-end applications, while collaborating with engineers, researchers, and leadership to create a seamless and innovative product experience. The ideal candidate will champion engineering excellence, mentor the technical team, and define best practices to support long-term growth. You’ll work closely with research teams to implement forward-thinking solutions for risk management in on-chain credit markets, drive integrations across DeFi protocols and liquidity providers, and oversee the security of critical infrastructure across the stack.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in blockchain DeFi, and smart contract programming.
- Deep expertise in Solidity, smart contract security, and EVM-based architectures, and experience overseeing web app development
- Proven track record of shipping world class technology and product experiences
- Strong background in decentralized finance (DeFi) and preferably also financial derivatives and risk management protocols.
- Experience effectively leading engineering teams including the ability to foster and attract top tier talent
