Lava is building decentralized RPC infrastructure that powers developers, dApps, and enterprises across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Built on the Cosmos SDK, Lava works with foundations, RPC providers, and ecosystem partners to deliver reliable, censorship-resistant access to blockchain data.

We are expanding rapidly across chains and are looking for an Ecosystem Expansion Manager to own that growth end-to-end.

Role: Ecosystem Expansion Manager

Mission

Own Lava’s expansion into new blockchain ecosystems — from identifying and onboarding gateway providers, to activating partners, coordinating grants, and driving adoption and subscription growth within each ecosystem.

This role blends business development, partnerships, ecosystem operations, and revenue support into one high-impact position.

Responsibilities

Ecosystem Entry & Expansion

• Identify new blockchain ecosystems where Lava should expand.
• Orchestrate Lava’s entry into new ecosystems end-to-end.
• Build relationships with ecosystem foundations, infra teams, and key stakeholders.

Gateway Providers & Partners

• Identify, recruit, and close gateway providers and ecosystem partners.
• Structure partnership and commission models together with leadership.
• Ensure partners are onboarded, aligned, and set up for success.

Partner Activation & Enablement

• Activate partners to promote Lava within their ecosystem.
• Support partners with positioning, messaging, and deal execution.
• Help partners close RPC subscription deals with dApps and enterprises.
• Monitor partner performance and ecosystem traction.

Grants & Funding Coordination

• Coordinate grant applications together with ecosystem partners.
• Support partners in navigating foundation processes and timelines.
• Track grant pipelines and follow through to completion.

Internal Coordination

• Coordinate closely with:
• DevRel on technical onboarding and provider success
• Marketing on ecosystem launches, announcements, and campaigns
• Product / Engineering on ecosystem-specific needs and feedback
• Act as the internal owner for each ecosystem once expansion starts.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 4+ years experience in Web3 ecosystems, BD, partnerships, or infra growth.
• Strong understanding of blockchain ecosystems and how they operate.
• Experience working with:
• Foundations
• Infrastructure providers / node operators
• Developers and dApps
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and long-running initiatives.
• Highly autonomous, structured, and execution-focused.
• Comfortable working directly with founders in a lean organization.

Strong Advantages

• Experience with blockchain infrastructure (RPCs, nodes, APIs).
• Existing network across Web3 ecosystems.
• Experience coordinating or participating in grant programs.
• Familiarity with Cosmos ecosystem (big plus).
• Experience supporting sales or partner-driven revenue.
