About Lava

Lava is building decentralized RPC infrastructure that powers developers, dApps, and enterprises across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Built on the Cosmos SDK, Lava works with RPC providers, node operators, and ecosystem teams to deliver reliable, censorship-resistant access to blockchain data.

Role: Developer Relations (DevRel)

Mission

Enable developers and ecosystem RPC providers to successfully build and operate on Lava by providing technical guidance, support, and advocacy.

This role is both developer-facing and infra-facing, working closely with RPC providers to ensure high-quality service delivery through Lava.

Responsibilities

RPC Provider & Ecosystem Enablement

  • Work directly with RPC providers, node operators, and infra teams within ecosystems.
  • Support onboarding, configuration, and performance optimization.
  • Act as the technical liaison between providers and Lava’s core engineering team.
  • Identify recurring provider issues and drive improvements in tooling and documentation.

Developer Support & Advocacy

  • Support developers integrating Lava RPCs and ecosystem gateways.
  • Help debug integration issues and share best practices.
  • Maintain clear feedback loops between developers and product teams.

Documentation & Technical Content

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, guides, and integration examples.
  • Produce ecosystem-specific documentation and provider playbooks.
  • Contribute to example repositories and reference implementations.

Community & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Be active in developer and infra communities (Discord, Telegram, GitHub, X).
  • Run workshops, AMAs, and onboarding sessions.
  • Support ecosystem launches, testnets, and hackathons.
  • Represent Lava at conferences and ecosystem events (occasional travel).

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Cosmos SDK.
  • Solid understanding of blockchain infrastructure (RPCs, nodes, validators, APIs).
  • Experience working closely with developers or infrastructure operators.
  • Ability to explain complex systems clearly and pragmatically.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving Web3 environment.

Strong Advantages

  • Experience with additional ecosystems or SDKs (EVM, Substrate, Solana, Move).
  • Prior experience working with RPC providers or node operators.
  • Open-source contributions or public technical writing.
  • Experience supporting ecosystem launches or infrastructure programs.

Why Join Lava?

  • Work on core Web3 infrastructure across multiple ecosystems.
  • Be a key technical voice between developers, providers, and product.
  • High ownership, real impact, and direct influence on product direction.
  • Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunities.
