We are an early stage startup based out of San Francisco. We are building a LifeSciences focussed conversational chatbot along with AI powered datasets to advance Life Sciences research. We are an international team spread around the world. This role is based out of SF Bayarea.
This position requires selling to a early and mid-market accounts while building and growing team of Business Development Executives. You’ll work directly with the CEO/founder day to day to strategize and outreach.
We are looking for our founding sales hire to help drive our end-to-end prospecting and sales process. You will closely work with the founders and work throughout the sales pipeline. This is a critical role for the company with significant career growth potential. You will help build and potentially lead a sales organization as the company grows.
We are looking for someone who is very hands-on and can get creative to work with limited resources.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential clients in the market using various lead generation techniques, such as community and free trial users, social media outreach, etc.
- Conduct thorough research on prospects to identify their specific data needs, pain points, and decision-makers.
- Engage with potential customers through various channels such as email, LinkedIn, etc.
- Schedule meetings and product demos with qualified prospects.
- Lead the sale closing process.
- Build and continuously improve sales playbooks.
- Collaborate with founders to drive post-sales revenue, ensure retention, and contribute to growth.
Required Qualification
- 5+ years of SaaS enterprise sales experience.
- LifeSciences/Bio/Phara SaaS sales experience a huge plus.
- Startup experience.
- Based out of the US (Remote), San Francisco preferred.
- Driven, self-motivated, and creative-thinker always on the lookout for ways to improve or enhance current sales efforts and outcomes.
