We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a data lake on GCP BigQuery or AWS, along with a user-friendly frontend built using modern JavaScript frameworks. This frontend will allow users to connect their wallets, interact with smart contracts, and manage datasets as data NFTs. The frontend will also provide features for viewing datasets and adding comments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup Centralized Data Lake: Design and implement a scalable data lake solution using GCP BigQuery or AWS.
• Upload Dataset: Implement functionality for users to upload datasets to the data lake.
• Integrate Dataset with Witness: Integrate datasets with the Witness framework to ensure data integrity and provenance.
• Design and Implement Frontend:
  • Design Fork of Ocean Marketplace Frontend: Create a frontend inspired by the Ocean Protocol marketplace using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React.js, Next.js).
  • Finalize Datalake UI/UX: Collaborate with the design team to finalize the UI/UX for the data lake.
  • Implement Datalake Frontend: Develop the frontend, ensuring responsiveness and interactivity.
• Integrate Wallet and Smart Contracts:
  • Implement wallet functionality for connecting and interacting with smart contracts.
  • Integration of Datalake Frontend with Ocean Marketplace Backend: Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and the Ocean Marketplace backend.
• Additional Features:
  • Implement features for viewing and commenting on datasets as data NFTs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Debugging and Optimization: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with GCP BigQuery or AWS and building data lakes.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Next.js.
  • Experience with smart contract integration and wallet connectivity.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technology and NFT standards.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
