We are seeking an outstanding electrical technician with a passion for solving some of neuroscience’s hardest problems and most serious unmet medical needs. You will be responsible for all related electrical manufacturing steps, making fully compliant all our medical devices, with always in mind the safety of the patient. You will work with the other members of the manufacturing and the quality teams

Role responsibilities:

  • Work in and respect the ESD and laser safety controlled environment,
  • Programming the electronic boards, then assemble the products,
  • Work closely with the engineers during the investigation of non functional root causes,
  • Provide support to the quality team for receiving inspections of all types of electronic components,
  • Ensure the verification/maintenance of electronic equipment used on the production line in collaboration with the quality team,
  • Clear documentation and communication in French, English is a plus.

Key qualifications:

  • Micro fabrication or microelectronics exposure
  • Proficient at soldering and reworking through-hole and surface mount components on PCBs

Preferred qualifications:

  • Class III device experience
  • Microfabrication exposure
  • Experience with using oscilloscopes, DMMs, other lab instruments
  • Experience programming and maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Microcontrollers & basic board layout
  • 3+ years experience
