As a Senior Software Engineer at Slik Safe, you will work closely with the founders to drive the development of our rapidly growing and well-loved product. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of file management, making a tangible impact on the product and shape the future of how files could/should be organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with the founders to conceptualize, design, and implement new features.
  • Lead the development of a native, cross-platform experience for managing files across all devices and storage solutions.
  • Ensure the highest level of security with end-to-end encryption while maintaining a seamless user experience.
  • Integrate AI capabilities to enhance file retrieval and management.
  • Maintain a high standard of code quality and collaborate with a small, highly skilled team.


  • Proven experience in native app development across one ore more platforms (iOS, macOS, Electron, React, Python).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating cutting-edge technology.
  • Experience on working on server side development using languages like Python, NodeJS, Java, Scala, etc.
  • Extremely strong fundamentals in Computer Science, with a Bachelors and 5+ years of experience.

An Ideal Candiate

A. Uses one or more of the following tools daily --

  1. Notion
  2. Arc Browser
  3. Linear App
  4. Cron Calendar (now Notion Calendar)
  5. Superhuman Email Client

B. Has worked on high performance, low memory usage apps while handling millions of requests/bytes of data etc

C. Can show examples of their pervious work, apps etc.

D. Has ruthless prioritization to ship apps
