Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary UI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating world-class user interfaces and experiences. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and shaping the future of Slik Safe's platform. You will work directly with the founders, taking on a pivotal role in defining the visual and interaction aspects of our product. Your designs will be seen and used by a growing user base and will help drive the productivity of users around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the founders and the product team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the user experience.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience with productivity tools like Superhuman, Arc Browser, Notion Calendar (aka Cron), etc.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a Visual Arts subject, or equivalent experience.
