Tools for Humanity is a non-profit Canadian community-based organization and humanitarian service dedicated to casting light on the causes of poverty, famine, and war around Africa. Tools for Humanity aims to address the economic and social needs of low-income communities both in Canada and globally, and to reduce poverty through setting up cooperatives, social enterprises, and second-hand tool distribution depots, as well as building skill and resourceful community-based organizations. Tools for Humanity’s commitment is to the post-conflict communities, to a new way to do social enterprise, and to reduce poverty while working towards economic strength to create employment and new opportunities for marginalized people.
