We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in software and hardware technologies to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability. The QA engineer will play an important part in our company’s product development process before product launches, ensuring the mobile apps run smoothly and are up to date, software and hardware processes and automations are optimised, while meeting client needs. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for software and hardware, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements for security, reliability, and performance for weather monitoring and reporting
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to ensure they are testable and meet customer needs to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Implement automated testing using frameworks and tools to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
• Collaborate with the UX, hardware and software developers to identify and fix defects and vulnerabilities, providing guidance on industry best practices, and identifying missing requirements for development and improvements
• Conduct thorough testing ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Analyse and report test results to the project team and management, providing recommendations for improvements or changes as needed
• Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability
• Ensure that our hardware meets cybersecurity and data privacy requirements, and secure key management
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in web3 technologies, DeFi and crypto, and incorporate this knowledge into testing processes and methodologies
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness, reducing the time-to-market for new products and features

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of working experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Strong technical background in software development, web3 technologies, QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organisation
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy requirements
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
• Self-driven, responsible, take ownership

• Understanding of decentralised finance (DeFi) and its underlying technologies
• Able to conduct usability and user acceptance testing to ensure smart contracts are easy to use, and meet user needs
