About WeatherXM

WeatherXM.com founded in 2022 (WeatherXM AG, Zug) by a core team that has been working together since 2015 having previously founded exm.gr an IIoT environmental monitoring, and weather analytics company that has served major enterprise customers.

Current investors include Placeholder, Consensys, Protocol Labs, Metaplanet, Borderless Capital, SOSV HAX/DLAB, notable visionary angel investors like Juan Benet (Filecoin), Ele Diakomichalis (Radicle).

WeatherXM is a weather DePIN project that utilizes a dense network of community-deployed weather stations, to provide the most accurate weather services possible.

People join the network by setting up WeatherXM stations and earn WXM tokens for the data they collect. Companies who want to use the weather data to create services, will need to buy licenses with WXM tokens.

By using cost efficient hardware and delegating capex, installation and maintenance to station owners we are building a dense weather network capable of providing hyper-local, real-time weather measurements. This is not possible through the centralized planning, procurement and maintenance model national weather organizations have to follow.

The WeatherXM network already counts more than 5k weather stations deployed in 80+ countries generating real time weather data and more accurate hyperlocal forecasts that weather dependent businesses need.

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, go-getter, and creative Head of Growth to become an integral part of our executive team. Our Head of Growth will forge ahead in exploring different sales routes and finding cool new stuff to bring to the table. They'll team up with other executives and team leads to brainstorm, create, and get the word out about WeatherXM's latest and greatest offerings/ products, all while keeping an eye on what's hot in the market. The candidate will be aligning sales, marketing, and other revenue-centric functions to accomplish business objectives. Finally they will be cultivating and fostering strategic partnerships, by leveraging their cross-functional expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting Growth Strategies: Work closely with our CEO, Marketing Lead and other key stakeholders to craft dynamic growth strategies that align with our mission. Speed execution and learning by running experiment driven growth sprints.
  • Insights-Driven Decision Making: Tackle the power of data to drive strategic decision-making. Dive into analytics to draw actionable insights that guide our growth trajectory, keeping us agile and ahead of the curve. Gather, synthesize and share customer insights.
  • Boosting Revenue Streams: Take the lead in ramping up our revenue growth from leveraging our product strength such as weather data, web3 or other possible products. Whether we're tweaking what's already working or diving into fresh markets, your creativity with pricing and product ideas will be key to maximizing our profits.
  • Forge Strategic Partnerships: Identify synergistic partnerships and alliances that can turbocharge the growth of our Stations Network and its Data Services.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Collaborates closely with other departments, including product development, and engineering, to ensure alignment and execution of the growth strategy. Building strong cross-functional relationships is essential for driving coordinated efforts and achieving growth objectives.
